Hastings, Minnesota is experiencing the Blizzard of the Century today! So far, we have at least one foot of snow at our house, and it keeps coming down like crazy.

Coming soon to Hastings!

There's a lot of excitement in Hastings, Minnesota about the coming of the Red Rock Corridor train line between Hastings and St. Paul. I share the enthusiasm for the train being here in Hastings, and linking us with St. Paul.

The train seems like a much-better alternative for commuters such as myself than everyone driving themselves - alone - in passenger cars up Highway 61 and 55/52. I would like to have a discussion with anyone who is opposed to the train coming to Hastings. I can't find any downside to it, but I'm sure there are opponents to the concept.
